Tradition and modern tourism

Bansko is a favourite destination for tourists coming from the country and abroad as well. It is attractive in very season offering various activities for breaks and recreation.

The specific Alpine character of Pirin mountains is protected by UNESCO since 1983. Bansko combines in a unique way distinctive and modernity. Cobblestoned streets  separate modern hotel complexes of the typical urban houses with wooden varandas, secluded behind strong double gates.
